Our Social Responsibility Towards the Environment

What is our social responsibility as a citizen in protecting the environment? How much are we contributing in the fight against, say Global Warming, Climate Change, Overuse of the Earth Resources?

Well its not rocket science to understand in what way we can contribute towards preserving our environment and mother earth.

Small steps such as by reducing waste at our office, homes, in how we use paper, use of unnecessary lights, etc, can contribute towards this cause.

Do we think of the environment before taking a printout (do I really need to take this printout?) or do we off our Air conditioning when we go out, do we use energy saving lights?

This is also applicable to our homes as well as, how often do we see lights, air conditioning and fans left on, when there is no one occupying the room (living room, dining room, bed room) ?

These are ways in which we can contribute, however small its is, towards preserving our environment.

By the way it is "OUR ENVIRONMENT" and we need to protect it.
