Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming

The Greenhouse effect has resulted in the earth getting warmer. The effect of this is extreme temperature causing droughts in some parts of the world.

The greenhouse effect is how the earth is kept warm, as natural green gas trap the heat from the sun. Without this effect the earth will be a cold place to live.

The natural gas in the atmosphere is enough to keep the earth warm enough for us live. But due rapid industrialization, in addition to the natural gases (for example generated by trees)there are man made gases released into the atmosphere, resulting more heat getting trapped, resulting in Global Warming. The biggest gas emitter are vehicles we use, secondly are the factories.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) has been attributed as major cause of Global warming, though it has become a debatable issue, with some (Americans) calling it a conspiracy.

The proponent of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) being the cause of Global Warming is former US Vice President Al Gore. He detailed in his documentary "The Inconvenient Truth" how the effect of CO2 is causing the earth to hot up. But his views has been disputed.

The following is the trailer of his film (documentary)
